How Long Does Crate
Production Take?
What Is IATA?

As a general guide, please contact us and place your order at least three months before your intended departure date.
Crate production normally takes approximately 30 days after the final specifications have been confirmed. Lead times may vary due to peak periods, airline specification changes, material availability, factory capacity, delivery conditions, and other operational factors.

IATA stands for the International Air Transport Association. It is the global trade association for airlines and develops international standards and guidance relating to safety, efficiency, and operations in air transport.
For pet air transportation, an “IATA-compliant” crate refers to a crate designed with reference to IATA’s Live Animals Regulations (LAR).
The LAR provide international guidance for the safe and welfare-conscious air transportation of live animals, including pets. They address considerations such as crate dimensions, strength, ventilation, doors, water containers, and labelling.

Economove Japan’s Approach
At Economove Japan, staff who have completed the IPATA Special Edition of the IATA Live Animals Regulations (LAR) Course oversee the planning of our original wooden crates based on current information.
We continually develop our knowledge of live-animal air transportation and handling requirements and regularly update that knowledge through ongoing learning and examinations.
