What Services
Can We Arrange?

A

Economove Japan arranges original wooden crates with careful consideration of IATA Live Animals Regulations (LAR) guidance and airline-specific requirements. This includes reviewing the selection of timber, stainless-steel ventilation mesh, spacer bars, door and fastening methods, and assembly specifications.
During the production process, we review the manufacturing and assembly stages with the factory. We also confirm the crate’s external dimensions, gross weight, specifications, and loading conditions with the intended airline.
We propose and deliver a crate designed for the planned journey, taking both IATA guidance and airline requirements into account.

Timber and Heat Treatment
When wooden materials are used for international transport, the destination country may require compliance with ISPM 15, the international standard for regulating wood packaging material.

Economove Japan works with partner packing providers that use appropriately treated wood. When required, we arrange a heat-treatment certificate and submit relevant documents for airline, export, or import procedures.
For wooden crates used in international transport, properly treated timber and a mark showing the registration number and treatment method may be required. We provide wooden crates that meet the relevant requirements for export use.
Please note that even if a crate is designed with IATA guidance in mind, final acceptance and loading are determined by the operating airline. Factors include airline policies, aircraft type, crate dimensions, total weight, loading capacity, seasonal restrictions, and the operational conditions on the day of travel. We support early coordination with owners and airlines to help plan an appropriate departure date.
